Jesus and Mary Chain live late 84

This charming collage of pics capture the combo at the height of their feedback drenched chaotic powers and were featured in issue four of the cool Romford Essex based Everything counts fanzine from late 84 .  I remember seeing a gig listed round that time at the Romford Rez nightclub , whether or not it actually happened i'm not sure. A bit like the fabled Bad Brains gig at Crocs nightclub Rayleigh Essex in 83, nobody seems to have any recollection of it occurring although flyers exist. Mmm who knows?

Probably the best pic i've ever seen of the drummer
